Our litter pick on Saturday 25th October successfully collected 43 sacks of rubbish and 7 (yes seven!) shopping trollies. Not as many families joined us as we would have hoped but the adults were in energetic action.

Lots of people to thank including Maxine Morgan from Ramsgate Town Team and Guy Sawtell for their support to deliver and publicise the event. Also, John Walker and Dave Lister for equally essential contribution for getting the equipment and other resources needed ordered and paid for.

Most importantly the efforts of all volunteers – including an Eastern European family who were only in Thanet for a few weeks. You all made a noticeable difference to an area that is well used by many Ramsgate residents.
