We want to apologise again for anyone who missed our emails to say the venue for this talk had to be switched to the Oddfellows Hall due to last minute non availability of the planned venue. In the event this much larger hall was a benefit as it was filled to capacity. If you attended, you will have noticed that as this talk was included in  the Heritage Open Day activities, we were requested to invite comments as people left.

All comments received were typed up and converted by our Vice Chair, Sophie Clissold-Lesser, into a word cloud. If you are not familiar with this technique, it simply counts up how many times each word is mentioned and displays it as a ‘cloud’ where the bigger the word the more mentions it had.

So, congratulations to Clive for all words being positive and the overall judgement that the talk was (very) ‘interesting’, ‘informative’ and ‘entertaining’.
