A truly unusual concert by The Thanet Light Orchestra takes place at St Luke’s Church on July 16 and will feature a number of seldom heard compositions with local connotations. Most significant of these being the exuberant Thanet Concert Overture by Alfred Wall which dates from 1916 and the Broadstairs Descriptive Suite by Bill Worland.

The concert on July 16 starts at 7pm.  Refreshments available. Tickets £10 on the door. For concessions call the church (St Luke’s Ramsgate) on 01843 592562.
