In the July newsletter we noted that after the Little Ships had completed their crossing to Dunkirk then the display on the slipway perimeter would be extended with ten extra panels. These panels would recognise the contribution of every ship that mustered in May 2025 to re-enact their part in Operation Dynamo.

This addition has now been completed and the panels include the names and a silhouette of every ship that took part in the crossing. The outlines have been filled with paintings by local children, to symbolise the freedom that the service of the Little Ships helped to preserve in 1940, and to encourage wider recognition within the current community.
