Garden Visit and Tour to Goodnestone Park Gardens

An especially arranged visit for The Ramsgate Society members to Goodnestone Park Gardens, a hidden treasure. The house and gardens have been in the Fitzwalter family for over 300 years.
The gardens cover approximately 15 acres and include a 17th century walled garden, woodland area, formal planting and impressive views over the parkland. An hour’s tour of the gardens will be given by Paul Bagshaw, Head Gardener. After the tour members will be able to stroll around the gardens at leisure.
Refreshments are available at The Old Dairy Cafe but if you wish to have lunch then it is advisable to book. See menu card below.

The tour takes place on Thursday 23rd March. Meet outside The Old Dairy cafe at 11am.

Members to make their own way independently to Goodnestone. You will need to drive slowly through the village of Goodnestone. There is ample parking to the front of the cafe/walled garden. If anyone needs a lift then please email firstname.lastname@example.org
